Pomeranian Lovers, this time We will write about Dog Pomeranian in America. Pomeranian Dogs in America were originated from England. The first Pomeranian who was exhibited in 1892 was called Sheffield Lad, and this brought enthusiasm to the people to know about these tiny dogs with their beautiful coats and playful manner. In America, the first American Pomeranian club was founded in 1900.

In the early times, the Pomeranian was categorized in the Miscellaneous class, but then it was moved to the toy group. The first pom won in the exhibition was Nubian Rebel in 1900.
More and more people were interested in Pomeranian because they found out the care was not difficult and it gave them pleasure. And by 1911, there were many pom breeders and owners to hold a specialty show. The winner of this show was Ch. Banner Prince.
The show classes were divided into two separate classes, under seven and over seven pounds. Four popular colors of Poms were white, black, chocolate, and blue. The blue one was a difficult color to breed and maintain. The most famous champions were Dainty Mite, Princes Hula as a brood bitch as well as a show champion, and twilight, the sire of many champions.
